A group of 35 elders from the Merseyside Chinese Community visited Merseyside Maritime Museum today to see the China through the lens of John Thomson exhibition.  The group were given a tour of the exhibition followed by a talk on the Blue Funnel Line.
Karen Charnock, the Education Manager at Merseyside Maritime Museum, said “Most of the elders had never visited the museum before and we now hope to invite them back to the site on a regular basis to enjoy the rest of the exhibitions.”

If you haven’t been to see the exhibition yet you’ve got 3 weeks left before it closes on Sunday 6 June.
