Kids set to take over the Walker!

Little girl writing in Big Art

To celebrate national Takeover Day 2012 young visitors to the Walker will be reviewing their experience in Big Art for Little Artists this Friday.

Takeover day gives children and young people the chance to experience the world of work and make their voices heard and gives organisations a fresh perspective on what they do.

Using digital cameras our young visitors will be recording their thoughts, identifying their favourite things and making suggestions as to how we can make Big Art even better. If you’ve got a discerning little one, all under 5’s are welcome, along with their carers to get involved

Keep an eye on our flickr page next week to see the verdict of our young team of early years evaluators on their first day at the office…
