Valentine’s Day is a time when couples try to search out that perfect place to dine with their loved one, or that unique gift to express their appreciation for their other half.

Tim Eccles, Duty Manager at the Maritime Dining Room, can certainly help with the first dilemma.

Tucked away on the top floor of the Maritime Museum, with enviable views over the picturesque Albert Dock and stunning Liverpool Waterfront, the Maritime Dining Room offers delicious regional food made in-house by our talented team of award winning chefs. A romantic and beautiful setting, it is the perfect place to escape from the busy city centre and enjoy delicious food with great company.

We will be serving our tempting and decadent afternoon tea this Valentine’s Sunday. A traditional treat that is made for sharing; with modern savoury favourites, fabulous cakes, delicate patisserie and classic freshly baked scones served with homemade fruit conserve and fresh cream.

Afternoon tea is served with a fresh pot of loose leaf tea, but if you want to indulge then we offer a seasonal cocktail or a quarter bottle of Prosecco.

If a classic roast is more your loved one’s food style, you can select from our Sunday roast menu with traditional roast beef, roast chicken, or vegetarian butternut squash, spinach and lentil pithivier. All served up with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and all the trimmings. For those with a sweet tooth you can indulge in some sticky toffee pudding or choose from our daily patisserie selection for that perfect dessert.
