National Museums Liverpool is up for the Best Customer Focused Business accolade at the City of Liverpool Business Awards tonight.
The annual Awards are a celebration of the thriving business community across the city region and this is the first time we’ve been up for an award.
This year, we’re celebrating our 30th anniversary, so it’s a great time to highlight our fantastic venues, collections and exhibitions that more than 2.8 million visitors enjoyed last year, as well as our contribution to Liverpool’s business community.
Outside of London, the Museum of Liverpool is the most visited museum in England and National Museums Liverpool as a whole is the largest group of national museums in the country outside the capital.
People come from near and far to see our museums and galleries, and we also welcome business people for conferences, events and couples hosting their weddings.
National Museums Liverpool looks after eight diverse, culturally and historically important venues which have been in the lives of residents and visitors to Liverpool for many years – some for more than 165!
Being able to preserve and create history for current and future generations is at the heart of what we do. We believe museums change lives.
