There’s no better time to hop on the train and discover the beauty of Spring this Easter in Port Sunlight.  With two Merseyrail stations in the village (Port Sunlight and Bebington), grab the kids, pack a picnic and explore the tree and daffodil lined avenues while the kids are off school.  With the Lady Lever Art Gallery and Port Sunlight Museum and Garden Centre to explore, stay a day or stay all week we’ve plenty to keep you all occupied.

The Art Gallery is open daily from 10am to 5pm and bursting with not only artworks and inspiration but family fun.  Join us for Art Play for under fives on Monday 26 March or grab a gallery trail for the older kids and discover why William Lever collected so many things!  Our activity rooms are open to all with dressing up clothes, storybooks and puzzles and you’re all welcome at our drop in See, Make, Do! craft sessions throughout the holidays.

For children aged 8 years and over Family Art Club will take a more creative approach to burning off some excess energy and chocolate! Sessions are free but for Family Art Club booking is essential online.

Let the Easter bunny tour you around the village on the Museum’s Easter trail from 30 March to 2 April and take the time to visit the Museum’s new exhibition Selling Sunlight. This new exhibition for 2018 explores how William Lever made his soap company into a household name and worldwide brand.  Discover the innovative approach Lever took with advertisements, and the stories behind some of the company’s most famous publicity campaigns.  Please note activities run by Port Sunlight Village Trust and entry to the Museum carries an additional charge, please check the website for details.

We hope you all have a wonderful Easter holiday and look forward to seeing you very soon.
