6 must-have accessories for the spring/summer season

22 March 2016 by Lisa

The spring cleaning has begun, the sun is no longer a stranger and we’re pretty sure that it’s about time to start venturing into the garden again too!

So here are our top picks of homeware, accessories and gardening gear, to get you in the mood for the spring/summer season.

For avant gardeners

We’re all for getting grubby in the garden, but that doesn’t stop you from injecting a little bit of style while you’re snipping at your shrubs! Made in collaboration with The Royal Horticultural Society, these colourful secateurs come in a pretty gift box that will brighten up any avid gardener’s day.

For early risers

Your morning cuppa is an essential part of having a good start to the day – but why not make early starts even better with set of cheery retro-inspired cups and saucers? We love the chair design on this must-have collection for discerning 20th century design fans.

For water babies

Being by the River Mersey, we’re always on the look out for maritime-themed goodies. These Ahoy glasses are a great find, with their fun nautical designs! You can also mix and match with coasters, mugs and espresso cups from the same collection.

For green fingers

Available in cord, denim or tweed – these fancy gardening gloves are practical and stylish. They’re made from soft, flexible, yet hard-wearing fabric and come in lots of great colours too.

For retro lovers

If you fancy bringing a bit of Brigitte Bardot style into your wardrobe, these vintage-inspired sunglasses would be a good place to start. From tortoise shell to tangerine, there are plenty of designs to choose from.

For weekenders

We’re gearing up for Easter and hoping for some great weather to go with it. There’s no guarantee of sunshine, but if it’s chilly we’d pick this light yet cosy blossom scarf for heading out at the weekend. And if you must give it as a gift, then it comes in it’s own gift box too.
