Can you believe it’s August? With friends and family jetting off on exotic holidays and the parks full of children enjoying their summer break, it hardly seems like the right time to start talking about Christmas. But at National Museums Liverpool, we’re talking about Christmas all year round, whether it’s our innovative team of chefs planning next years festive dinners, or our award-winning events team sourcing decorations for our unique venues. But with only 100 days to go until our first all-inclusive festive party, the pace is really beginning to pick up.
This year, our events team are hosting their all-inclusive Christmas parties in two of our iconic locations, World Museum and Merseyside Maritime Museum. They’re particularly excited about the World Museum parties this year as the ground floor has undergone an exceptional redevelopment, transforming areas of the museum previously unseen by the public into a modern event space. Our Merseyside Maritime Museum Christmas parties will also have a brand new look, with beautiful new flooring ideal for festive dancing! At each venue, the a two-course carvery menu will be served using fresh and locally-sourced ingredients, from succulent roast Cheshire turkey to a rich dark chocolate mousse dessert.
For those planning private Christmas parties, there’s even more choice in deciding where to host your festive celebration. How about dinner at Museum of Liverpool, overlooking the waterfront and the city’s famous Three Graces, in the company of Blackler’s Santa? Or maybe the Grade I listed Dr Martin Luther King Jr Building, at the heart of the Albert Dock? Whichever venue you choose, our events team will be there to assist you from your initial enquiry to the moment your last guest leaves. Menus at our private Christmas parties can be tailored to your specific requirements and our chefs love working with clients to create unique dishes.
